Special Education Teacher - Andover, Minnesota

This opportunity, located near Andover, MN, is part of the innovative "Ready, Set, Launch" program—an elementary-level, center-based special education initiative designed for learners with autism and developmental differences.

Beginning August 31, 2026 and running through June 10, 2027, you'll work weekdays (M-F) for 37.5 hours per week, providing consistent structure for students in a highly collaborative setting. You'll be an essential part of a passionate team, helping build essential skills and foster growth for each student.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teacher license (required)
• Experience supporting students with autism or significant developmental needs, especially in a center-based or specialized program
• Flexibility and creativity in instructional methods
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and adapt instruction to meet individual needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in the Ready, Set, Launch program
• Collaborate with other education professionals, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success
• Assess student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies based on individual student needs
