Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication skills for working with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to cultivate a positive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging and accessible instruction while differentiating curriculum
• Collect data and monitor student progress, adapting instruction as needed
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
