Special Education Teacher in Angels Camp, CA

Make a difference in the lives of middle school students by providing essential instruction and support as a Special Education Teacher in a self-contained environment for those with moderate to severe needs. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to foster growth, learning, and social development in a close-knit educational community throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Your ability to adapt, inspire, and use evidence-based educational methods will create positive and meaningful change for students requiring individualized education plans. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential appropriate for middle school level
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with moderate to severe disabilities
• Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff and families
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Previous experience in a self-contained special education setting preferred
