Special Education Teacher - Angola, Indiana

Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
• Experience teaching or supporting K-3 students strongly preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for differentiating instruction and adapting curriculum
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere
• Skill working collaboratively with general educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and support growth
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents and other professionals
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
