Openings are available for the upcoming school year, starting August 18, 2026, with placements across elementary ASD/CI classrooms, a high school ASD classroom, and a resource room. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with fellow educators, develop individualized strategies, and nurture student growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Michigan CI (Cognitive Impairment) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Special Education teaching license
• Proven commitment to student-centered teaching in special education
• Experience supporting students in ASD or CI classroom settings or resource rooms
• Strong ability to modify curriculum and design engaging, accessible materials
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals for assigned caseload
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs in coordination with a multidisciplinary team
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom culture that fosters student engagement and success
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with families and school personnel
• Document student progress and adhere to legal and educational best practices
