Three Special Education Teachers are needed to fill important positions that serve elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Cognitive Impairment (CI) classrooms, as well as a resource room setting. Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Michigan CI or ASD Special Education teaching license required
• Previous experience working in ASD or CI settings strongly preferred
• Commitment to addressing diverse learning needs using individualized strategies
• Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating with caregivers
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement tailored lesson plans in accordance with IEPs for elementary ASD/CI and resource room caseloads
• Monitor student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed
• Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and service providers to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social development
