Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan Teaching Certification with a Special Education endorsement (must be included with your application)
• Proven ability to adapt instruction and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Experience teaching at either elementary, middle, or high school level preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to meet the unique learning needs of a diverse student population
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs, providing both academic and behavioral support
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and administration to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians, fostering strong partnerships
• Support transitions and advocacy, equipping students with skills for success in school and beyond
