Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 teaching certification in Special Education (required to be submitted with your application)
  • Specialization or strong experience working with Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) students preferred
  • Ability to deliver a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for adapting educational approaches to meet individual learners’ needs

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a center-based Emotional Behavior Disorder classroom for elementary-aged students
  • Plan and implement IEPs, deliver individualized support, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to ensure holistic support for each student
  • Develop engaging lessons that incorporate STEM activities and promote critical thinking
  • Foster an environment that supports social-emotional learning, behavior regulation, and academic growth
