Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Certification documentation and current resume must be submitted for consideration
  • Expertise in managing Emotional or Behavioral Disorder (EBD) caseloads, preferably in a center-based setting
  • Experience delivering specialized instruction and behavioral interventions at the elementary level
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a creative, engaging school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted instruction, behavioral support, and case management services for students with EBD
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address academic and behavioral goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure inclusive educational experiences
  • Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom climate that empowers all learners
  • Utilize research-based strategies and interventions tailored to student needs
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences

This full-time, on-site position follows a Monday–Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the school year, offering the rewarding experience of helping students succeed in a unique, forward-thinking academic setting.
