Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 teaching certification in Special Education (required to be submitted with your application)
- Specialization or strong experience working with Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) students preferred
- Ability to deliver a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for adapting educational approaches to meet individual learners’ needs
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a center-based Emotional Behavior Disorder classroom for elementary-aged students
- Plan and implement IEPs, deliver individualized support, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to ensure holistic support for each student
- Develop engaging lessons that incorporate STEM activities and promote critical thinking
- Foster an environment that supports social-emotional learning, behavior regulation, and academic growth
