Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license/certification for Special Education (current or eligible to obtain)

• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to various learning styles and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored for students with special needs
• Assess student skills and learning requirements; monitor progress and maintain detailed records
• Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs in coordination with a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support social, emotional, and academic development
• Participate in professional development and schoolwide initiatives
