Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

Key Requirements:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4); applications without this will not be considered
• Experience or strong interest in delivering specialized instruction to elementary-aged students
• Passion for working in an inclusive, collaborative environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction based on individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and case management for elementary students receiving special education services
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success in mathematics, science, and engineering programming
• Maintain accurate records on student progress, goals, and accommodations
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional learning communities, and school initiatives

This position is a full-time contract role, offering 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, and runs from early September 2026 through June 2027.
