Key Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (tier 3 or 4 license required)
  • Expertise in working with special programs across elementary, middle, and high school age levels
  • Previous experience with diverse learners and the ability to adapt teaching strategies as needed
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction aligned with IEPs and program goals for students identified in special programs
  • Engage in comprehensive classroom management and adapt curriculum for individual student needs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate student records, progress reports, and necessary documentation
  • Contribute to classroom and school-wide initiatives supporting student development, inclusion, and positive behavior
  • Serve as a resource for colleagues regarding instructional adaptations, assessment, and student engagement strategies

Role Details:

  • Three open positions for Special Education Teachers
  • Full-time, on-site assignment (no virtual/remote options)
  • Academic year schedule: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Workweek consists of 35 hours, offering a balanced professional commitment
