Special Education Teacher - Anoka, Minnesota

We're seeking three onsite Special Education Resource Teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract position involves working in a supportive school community, providing tailored interventions and resources for students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Teaching Certification required (Tier 3 or 4 only)
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred, particularly in elementary settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to engage in team meetings, student evaluations, and IEP development processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource teacher for an elementary caseload, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to support students' success
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to promote an inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
