Make a real impact supporting students as a Special Education professional in an itinerant role for the 2026-2027 school year. This position provides specialized guidance and collaboration across K-12 settings. You'll deliver direct and consultative support focusing on curriculum access, technology integration, and inclusive environments for students with physical and health disabilities.

What You’ll Need:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license with a Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
  • Experience providing services to students with physical impairments
  • Strong background in developing, writing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams (OTs, PTs, general educators)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering equity and accessibility within classroom settings

Your Contribution:

  • Travel between school sites to offer expert consultation on curriculum modifications and classroom accessibility
  • Conduct thorough functional evaluations to drive individualized supports
  • Create and manage compliant, student-centered IEPs; monitor progress and document accordingly
  • Provide training and support regarding assistive tools and technology to staff
  • Work collaboratively with occupational and physical therapists as well as general education teams
  • Effectively support a K-12 caseload by adapting instruction to maximize student engagement and success
  • Uphold district policies and state/federal SPED regulations
