Special Education Teacher - Anoka, MN

This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support elementary students and collaborate with a committed team of education professionals. Expected to start at the end of August 2026 and run through early June 2027, you’ll be onsite weekdays during the school year, developing tailored instructional strategies and providing targeted resource support. You’ll work hands-on with students, families, and colleagues, ensuring all learners are equipped for their academic journey.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4)
• Professional experience as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting
• Ability to manage a resource caseload and develop individualized supports
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and staff
• Up-to-date resume and MN Teaching Certification required for consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource support and special education services to elementary students according to IEPs
• Develop engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet individualized student needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain all required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
