Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure in the state
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills and adaptability to meet various student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual student goals
• Assess student abilities to determine eligibility for special education services and to monitor ongoing progress
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and specialists
• Maintain accurate and timely student records as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective support strategies
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
