Multiple full and part-time positions are available for dedicated Special Education professionals with expertise in supporting diverse learners. Contracts commence September 8, 2026, and continue through June 10, 2027, offering a fulfilling school-year commitment with 37.5 hours per week.
Openings include:
- 0.5 FTE DAPE (Developmental Adapted Physical Education) at the elementary level
- 1.0 FTE Center-Based SPED Teacher (ASD or DCD endorsement required)
- 2.0 FTE Resource SPED Teachers (ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsements accepted)
- 1.0 FTE Resource SPED Teacher (ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsements accepted)
Ideal candidates bring a strong background in special education, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to student growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education teaching license
- Appropriate state endorsements: ASD, DCD, EBD, ABS, or DAPE depending on the role
- At least two years of direct SPED classroom teaching experience (paraprofessional, substitute, or general education experience not applicable)
- Passion for creating inclusive and adaptive learning environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and evidence-based interventions aligned to student needs
- Collaborate with general education and specialized staff to implement IEPs
- Monitor progress, keep detailed records, and maintain compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Engage with families to foster partnership and understanding
- Promote a positive, supportive classroom environment for all learners
