Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

This full-time, contract Special Education position centers around the "Ready, Set, Launch" program—a specialized initiative designed for learners with autism and distinctive developmental profiles, and collaborates closely with related LAUNCH and DCD programs. The assignment spans Monday through Friday at 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 10, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teacher license
• Experience supporting students with autism and diverse developmental needs highly preferred
• Ability to design individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based interventions
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and collaborative teaming
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and nurturing classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging instruction aligned with each student’s IEP and developmental goals
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to create holistic support networks
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies and interventions as needed
• Support the social and emotional growth of students within a structured center-based program
• Contribute to a positive school community focused on equity and student advocacy
