Special Education Teacher | Anoka, Minnesota

Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Special Education Teachers who are eager to make an impact in students’ lives. Multiple full-time contract roles are open in a collaborative school-based setting, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year. Among these, there is a unique 0.5 FTE opening at the high school level as well as positions within early childhood, elementary, middle, and transitional education.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required
• For Osseo Transition Center role, ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement is highly preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure academic and behavioral goals are met
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to support varied learning styles
• Cultivate a safe, respectful classroom culture where all students feel valued
• Participate in parent meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional training
• Collect and document student progress to inform instruction and meet compliance requirements
