Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4); please be prepared to provide proof of licensure
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with DCD or similar populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that foster student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and behavioral support to students with developmental cognitive disabilities
• Manage a caseload of approximately nine students, ensuring accommodations and modifications are in place per IEPs
• Maintain open, proactive communication with team members, families, and administration
• Monitor student progress and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with state education standards

This contract role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, working roughly 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break. Experience professional fulfillment knowing your work directly shapes student success.
