Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license for Minnesota (or ability to obtain).
• Experience working with students who have learning differences, disabilities, or require individualized educational plans.
• Strong understanding of current best practices in special education.
• Effective communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Collaborative attitude, able to work well both independently and as part of an educational team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored instructional plans to address students’ IEPs and academic goals.
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and documentation as required by state and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists to deliver cohesive support for students.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and success.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies.
