Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

You’ll serve as both instructor and case manager, providing individual and small-group instruction while ensuring due process requirements are consistently met. With a manageable caseload of 5–8 students, you’ll have the time and resources to build relationships and thoroughly support each learner’s growth and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching licensure issued by PELSB (required)
• Experience working with K-8 students in special education settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and compliance standards
• Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and behavioral support plans
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with diverse learning needs
• Provide direct instruction, classroom management, and academic/behavioral interventions
• Oversee due process documentation, progress monitoring, and required reporting
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and general education staff to promote student success
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development

Position Details:

• Full-time, contract position (onsite only)
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Assigned to one campus, supporting a focused group of students
• Anticipated start: October 19, 2026; contract through June 11, 2027
