Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role will have you working closely with a small, dedicated group of 5 to 8 students in grades 1 through 8, across a single campus. You’ll play a vital role both as a classroom instructor and a case manager, making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who qualify under OHD, ASD, EBD, and DD eligibility categories.

Your responsibilities will center on providing individualized instruction tailored to your students’ needs, as well as managing and overseeing the due process for each case. This assignment offers the chance to collaborate with a committed team, including access to an onsite speech-language pathologist for students in need of those services.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license issued by PELSB.
• Experience or passion for working with students with a variety of abilities and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and due process responsibilities.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
