Special Education Teacher - Anoka, Minnesota

The position is housed at a well-regarded early childhood center, serving students within a renowned school district. As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, you will guide and collaborate with both students and their families to create educational and therapeutic plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4) required
• Experience supporting children ages 3-5 in an educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for young learners, ages 3-5
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and school staff
• Collaborate closely with related service providers and support personnel
• Track student growth and adapt interventions as needed

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 3:40 pm (37.5 hours weekly)
• Contract dates: ASAP through June 10, 2027
