In this onsite DCD Centerbase Special Education Teacher role, you’ll provide vital support to elementary students with developmental and cognitive delays in a supportive team setting. You’ll be exposed to innovative teaching methods, strong leadership, and collaborative multi-disciplinary teams—boosting your professional growth and broadening your educational impact.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required; must be submitted with resume)
  • Licensure in Special Education
  • Proven experience or passion for working with elementary-aged students with DCD
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for new environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction for elementary students with developmental and cognitive delays
  • Develop and implement IEPs addressing students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including staff and families
  • Monitor progress, maintain records, and communicate growth to stakeholders
  • Cultivate a compassionate, inclusive, and structured classroom atmosphere
