Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
  • Experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the DCD Teacher for a caseload of approximately 9 students at the elementary level
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment within a dedicated support team
  • Collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
