Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Experience teaching students with diverse learning and behavioral needs preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams
- Flexibility, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support in a Setting 4 environment for students with the highest behavioral and complex disabilities (elementary through high school)
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based practices to manage classroom behaviors and facilitate student engagement
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and support personnel
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
