Special Education Teacher - Now Hiring

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district team for the remainder of the school year. This role is perfect for an educator who’s passionate about making a meaningful difference in students’ lives through individualized instruction, inclusive practices, and collaborative support with school staff.

Position Overview

As a school-based Special Education Teacher, you’ll work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support student success. You'll have the opportunity to directly impact student outcomes while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Provide specialized instruction in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings

• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

• Collect and analyze data to drive instruction and track progress

• Collaborate with staff and families to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid state Special Education teaching license/certification (endorsements as required)

• Experience in school-based settings preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of IEP development, data collection, and differentiated instruction
