Special Education Teacher - Arivaca, Arizona

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-5 students in self-contained classrooms

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to a small group of elementary students with diverse abilities
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate with five classroom paraprofessionals
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to optimize learning
• Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families and educational staff to support student development
