In this full-time, contract position (30 hours per week), you’ll dedicate your skills and attention to managing the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process for students receiving special education services—without the added responsibility of direct instruction. This unique opportunity is tailored for professionals who excel at organization, communication, and navigating complex compliance procedures within the special education system.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education certification (all certifications considered; Birth–21 preferred)
  • Prior experience as a Case Manager, IEP Coordinator, ARD Facilitator, or in a related Special Education support capacity is a plus
  • Familiarity with Embrace and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) IEP platforms is highly valued
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines, schedules, and priorities
  • Skilled in coordinating among families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings for students in special education
  • Serve as the primary liaison for families, staff, and support teams
  • Ensure all IEP documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain meticulous student records and monitor ongoing processes
  • Collaborate with school systems to meet all state and federal regulations
  • Utilize district IEP software and manage related documentation workflows
  • Support overall special education case management functions
