Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active Special Education teaching license for the state of Illinois
• Experience working with students with diverse needs in special education classrooms
• Ability to collaborate with support staff, parents, and faculty for student success
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational programs for students in assigned classroom settings
• Deliver engaging instruction within self-contained, cross-categorical, life skills, or early childhood settings
• Monitor and document academic, social, and behavioral progress
• Communicate effectively with families and educational team members
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
