Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Special Education teaching license for the state of Illinois
- Experience working with students with diverse needs in special education classrooms
- Ability to collaborate with support staff, parents, and faculty for student success
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized educational programs for students in assigned classroom settings
- Deliver engaging instruction within self-contained, cross-categorical, life skills, or early childhood settings
- Monitor and document academic, social, and behavioral progress
- Communicate effectively with families and educational team members
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
