Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate for special education in early childhood
• Background in early intervention strategies and individualized education program (IEP) development
• Experience in classroom management and behavioral intervention techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in early childhood or preschool special education settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and adapt lesson plans that address varying learning needs and abilities
• Design and monitor Individualized Education Programs for each student
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and specialists to support holistic student development
• Cultivate a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
• Engage families and caregivers in their children’s progress and ongoing goals
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress, updating instructional strategies as needed
