Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements
• Experience working with K-8th grade students in inclusive or resource settings
• Understanding of IEP processes and ability to implement individualized goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable and considered a significant asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to the needs of students with varying abilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide both direct classroom instruction and resource support as assigned
• Monitor, track, and communicate student progress and adapt methods as needed
• Maintain organized records and meet compliance requirements in a timely manner
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and inclusion
