• K-12 Self-Contained Autism program
• Elementary Therapeutic Day School (serving students with significant social/emotional needs)
• High School Therapeutic Day School (serving students with significant social/emotional needs)

This position provides an hourly pay range of $40-$55, recognizing your specialized skillset and dedication.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement (K-22)
• Willing to consider candidates in progress with licensure or holding out-of-state credentials
• Experience working with students in grades K–5 or grades 9–12
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student-centered instruction

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Create engaging, supportive, and structured classroom environments
• Employ trauma-informed and evidence-based practices to address social/emotional behavior
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other staff to deliver holistic support
• Regularly assess progress and adjust instructional approaches
• Provide direct instruction, classroom management, and de-escalation as needed
