Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-8th grade in the state
• Experience working with early education, elementary, or middle school-aged children preferred
• Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Understanding of instructional strategies for diverse learning styles and special needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate different student abilities and learning profiles
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth in both resource and self-contained settings
• Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, conferences, and team collaborations
• Communicate effectively with parents and other educators to coordinate student support
