The schedule covers Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, providing consistency and enabling you to directly impact student growth in a structured setting.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification with LSB1 endorsement required
• Experience working with high school students, ideally in a therapeutic or specialized environment
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to implement accommodations to meet diverse student needs
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, students, and families
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting learners with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and social-emotional growth
• Collect and maintain accurate records of student progress, collaborating with related services as needed
• Engage regularly with family members and interdisciplinary teams to review and update student goals
• Respond to behavioral or learning challenges with evidence-based interventions
