Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field

• Strong understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and behavior management
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Passion for adapting curriculum and instruction to meet student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques and interventions to enhance student learning and engagement
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment
• Work closely with general education teachers and related services staff to ensure inclusive practices
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with families to discuss student progress and address concerns
• Stay current with special education guidelines and best practices
