This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 20th, 2026 to October 30th, 2026, and is perfect for educators passionate about helping preschool students develop to their fullest potential.

You’ll lead both morning and afternoon preschool sessions, providing direct instruction and early interventions. With a manageable caseload and support from skilled paraprofessionals plus on-site occupational and speech-language therapists, this role is designed to let you focus on transformative teaching.

What sets you up for success:

  • Valid CDE Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) license required
  • Experience as a lead teacher in early childhood or special education settings
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom routines and case management responsibilities
  • Dedication to individualized, student-centered teaching and team collaboration
  • Capacity to manage small groups, support paraprofessionals, and communicate with related service providers

Daily responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging instruction in both AM and PM preschool sessions, with up to 18 students per class
  • Serve as the case manager and service provider for up to 10 students requiring ECSE services
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to integrate supports and therapies in the classroom
  • Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and engage families in their child’s educational journey
  • Support a positive and safe classroom atmosphere tailored to diverse learning needs
