What You’ll Bring:

• Active Colorado CDE licensure required
• Experience or strong interest in working with high school students
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administration
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies for diverse learning needs
• Background in mild/moderate special education or SSN programs strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills

In This Role, You Will:

• Serve high school students through two open positions focused on mild/moderate SPED
• Lead and adapt lessons for students enrolled in the SSN program at Sheridan
• Maintain and update IEPs, progress reports, and other required documentation
• Work closely with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages growth, confidence, and independence
• Actively participate in student support meetings and professional development opportunities
