What You’ll Bring:
- Active Colorado CDE licensure required
- Experience or strong interest in working with high school students
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administration
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies for diverse learning needs
- Background in mild/moderate special education or SSN programs strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
In This Role, You Will:
- Serve high school students through two open positions focused on mild/moderate SPED
- Lead and adapt lessons for students enrolled in the SSN program at Sheridan
- Maintain and update IEPs, progress reports, and other required documentation
- Work closely with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages growth, confidence, and independence
- Actively participate in student support meetings and professional development opportunities
