Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching Certificate required
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, Case Manager, or similar role
- Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), compliance, and goal setting
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills
- Prior school-based experience working with middle and/or high school students is advantageous
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Provide targeted instruction and differentiated support to meet diverse learning needs
- Advise and consult with general education teachers on effective accommodations and interventions
- Track student progress and document advancements in alignment with compliance requirements
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings, ensuring student-centered decision making
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and state policies
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment where all students can thrive
