Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to best support the student population.
- A minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, with preference in special education.
- Flexibility and strong teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues and adapting to students’ needs.
- Possess, or be in process of obtaining, an active CDE license (alternatives such as TEE not accepted); please have your documentation ready.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to students within the resource caseload.
- Work closely with other special education staff, general education teachers, and families to develop and implement appropriate strategies.
- Monitor student progress while maintaining compliance with IEP goals and state educational standards.
- Use your Spanish/English bilingual skills to offer comprehensive support and clear communication to students and their families.
- Participate actively in professional meetings, IEP conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
