What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification in Early Childhood Special Education (accepted: ages birth–8, grades P3–2 or P3–K, or ages 3–8, grades P3–2)
• Strong understanding of standardized assessments for eligibility, literacy, and math programming
• Background in assessing, teaching, and supporting preschool-aged children who have diverse needs
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to handle a caseload of up to 15 preschool students
• Must complete a background check upon offer acceptance

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday
• Students attend Monday through Thursday; Friday reserved for planning and team collaboration
• Provide both in-class and pull-out support within a continuum of services
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs
• Participate actively in student evaluation, progress meetings, and goal setting
• Engage with families and caregivers to promote student success
