Hours: 37.5 hours per week, one school per assignment
Available Assignments:
- Learning Specialist (mild/moderate) at Arapahoe Ridge or Woodglen Elementary – ideal for educators seeking to support diverse learners in inclusive settings.
- Affective Needs Lead at Cherry Drive Elementary – work with children facing severe emotional/behavioral challenges and lead a talented group of paraprofessionals. Skills in CPI, de-escalation, ABA, FBA, BIP, and Autism required.
- Structured Learning Services at Hunters Glen Elementary – support students with significant cognitive and behavioral disabilities in a self-contained, station-based classroom. Expertise in behavioral strategies, Autism, and cognitive disabilities is highly valued.
What We're Looking For:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Teacher license with a Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement.
- Relevant experience with elementary students and the specific needs of the posted assignment.
- Collaborative, personable style—personality fit is a priority for this district.
- Experience with team leadership (for lead roles), behavioral interventions, and specialized programming preferred.
- Ability to promptly respond with required district credentialing paperwork before starting.
