Special Education Teacher | Arvada, Colorado

Key Qualifications:

• Valid CDE Special Education Teacher licensure required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Background in managing mild to moderate special education caseloads
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom environments
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver effective instruction and interventions tailored to each learner
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Collect, monitor, and report student progress and growth
• Facilitate positive behavioral supports within the classroom
• Maintain compliance with district and state requirements
• Engage in ongoing professional development as required
