Key Qualifications:
- Valid CDE Special Education Teacher licensure required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Background in managing mild to moderate special education caseloads
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom environments
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver effective instruction and interventions tailored to each learner
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Collect, monitor, and report student progress and growth
- Facilitate positive behavioral supports within the classroom
- Maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required
