To be eligible, you must possess a valid CDE SPED License with a Generalist Endorsement. Proof of application for the correct license is required if not yet issued—substitute, temporary, interim, or out-of-state certifications will not be considered. Your license should be a Professional Teacher License with an endorsement in Special Education Generalist (5-21).

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Special Education Teacher License with Generalist (5-21) Endorsement
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching students with diverse educational needs
• In-depth knowledge of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and supporting students on alternative standards
• Mastery of the IEP development process, implementation, and compliance
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of educators and professionals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work fully on-site; remote or hybrid work is not available

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Designing and adapting lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
