Grades 6 - 8 Certified Special Ed Teacher | Arvada, Colorado

Qualifications:

• Active and current teaching license in Special Education

• Experience developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of intervention strategies in reading and math

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pull-out services for reading and math interventions to students across K-8
• Assess student strengths and areas for growth, documenting progress and adapting instruction as needed
• Develop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with fellow educators and families
• Create a supportive, structured classroom environment tailored to diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and educational team members
• Foster a positive learning experience that encourages student growth and self-confidence
