Special Education Teacher in Arvada, CO

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Colorado certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience creating, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to effectively teach and support students in a range of educational environments, including self-contained, inclusion, resource, and co-teaching settings
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student growth and achievement
• Positive, collaborative mindset and adaptability to new challenges

What you’ll do:

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s needs and learning style
• Implement and manage IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
• Work proactively with general education staff in inclusion or co-teaching contexts
• Document student progress, contribute to case management, and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Foster a supportive, engaging, and encouraging classroom environment
