In this role, you’ll work as an Elementary Life-Skills Special Education Teacher for grades K-4. You'll have support from a paraprofessional in the classroom and will collaborate with a teaching partner to co-manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, with each teacher responsible for 7-8 students. This collaborative atmosphere fosters professional growth and the ability to share successful strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid 461 endorsement is required
• Certified Special Education Teacher—elementary level experience preferred
• Previous experience with life-skills programs or similar caseloads is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate closely with another teacher to co-manage a manageable caseload
