Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for high school level
• Experience or strong interest in teaching English Language Arts within special education
• Capability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively alongside general education teachers and support staff
• Previous experience in high school settings is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored ELA instruction to high school students with varying learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
