Make a lasting impact by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This contract opportunity welcomes passionate educators for both K-12 Inclusion and Sub Separate teaching positions, with a current emphasis on Sub Separate roles—specifically supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social-emotional needs. Several positions are available in a collaborative environment with a strong team-oriented approach.

As a dedicated educator, you will teach in classrooms supported by 2-3 paraprofessionals and work closely with supervisors, BCBAs, and social workers. Your efforts will empower students with diverse learning needs, helping them reach their highest potential in an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere.

What we're looking for: • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Massachusetts) • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students, especially in self-contained or inclusion settings • Enthusiasm for collaborating with multidisciplinary support staff (paras, BCBAs, social workers) • Understanding of IEP development, instructional accommodations, and data-driven instruction • Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment

Key responsibilities: • Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual student needs • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff to deliver effective instruction • Manage classroom activities, behavioral strategies, and progress monitoring • Communicate regularly with families and other professionals to ensure student growth and success • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings/progress reviews
