This contract opportunity offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals and provide high-quality instruction and support to K-12 students in a supportive environment located near Attleboro, MA.
We are seeking several committed and compassionate educators to fill a variety of K-12 Special Education positions, with a primary focus on Sub Separate classrooms (including those serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and social-emotional needs). Inclusion roles also available. You’ll work alongside a team that includes 2-3 paraprofessionals in each classroom, as well as supervisors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and social workers—a true multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for the state of Massachusetts
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in Special Education preferred)
- Experience working in K-12 special education settings, especially Sub Separate or ASD/social-emotional classrooms
- Ability to design and implement differentiated instructional strategies
- Strong collaborative skills for partnership with paraprofessionals and support staff
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive classroom culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized K-12 instruction according to students’ IEPs
- Foster a safe, supportive classroom for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, BCBAs, supervisors, and social workers to develop and monitor goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate student records
- Communicate proactively with families and school staff
