Special Education Teacher - Auburn, ME

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Maine (ME) Special Education Teacher license required
• Prior experience working with high school students preferred
• Familiarity with ESY program structure is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt lessons and instructional strategies to student needs
• Dedicated, compassionate, and organized approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to high school students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with ESY staff and related service providers to ensure continuity of services
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to student goals
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
