Qualifications & Experience:

• Current teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Demonstrated knowledge of IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
• Experience with diverse learning styles and the ability to adapt instructional approaches
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Previous experience working with students who have a range of special needs (preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Assess students’ strengths, challenges, and progress, providing regular updates
• Modify curriculum and provide differentiated instruction based on student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support student success
• Maintain organized records, documentation, and compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages growth and engagement
• Participate in professional development as needed and contribute to team meetings
